3. Consent and Release for In-Class Workshops:
By enrolling in our courses, you provide explicit consent for the following:
- Participation in In-Class Workshops: You consent to participate in all practical workshops, which may include hands-on assessments and treatment simulations.
- Consent to Use of Workshop Media: In certain cases, in-class workshops may be recorded for educational purposes. By attending, you agree to the use of your image, video, or voice, provided that no personal health information is shared without your
explicit consent. - Liability Waiver: You agree to release Royal Canadian College of Osteopathy & Alternative Medicine from liability for any accidental injuries or discomfort that may occur during in-class workshops, as the hands-on nature of osteopathy training involves
physical participation.
4. No Refund Policy:
Once registered and payment is made, all course fees are non-refundable. Please ensure you fully understand the course content and schedule before enrolling.

We encourage students to thoroughly review the course requirements and details before making payment, as refunds will not be provided under any circumstances.
5. Course Deferral Policy:
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Students may defer their enrollment to a future course session under the following conditions:
- A written request for deferral must be submitted at least 30 days before the course start date.
- Â Deferrals will be permitted for up to 1 year from the original course start date.
- Only one deferral is allowed per student. Additional deferrals will require a new application and payment of fees.
6. Final Exam Policy and Re-Evaluation
To successfully complete the program, students must pass the final exam. Students are allowed up to three attempts to pass the exam. If a student fails the final exam after three attempts:
- The student will be required to attend an interview and evaluation with the academic board.
- The student may be required to retake certain courses before being allowed to attempt the final exam again.
- The student will need to pay any additional fees for the retake of courses.
7. Student Rights and Responsibilities:
As a student, you have the right to:
- Access the educational materials and participate fully in the program
- Receive feedback and evaluations from instructors
- Request support from the administration in case of academic or personal difficulties
As a student, you are responsible for:
- Attending workshops and completing all required coursework
- Respecting the rights and privacy of other students and instructors
- Maintaining academic integrity in all assignments and exams
8. Protection of Personal Information:
Your personal information is stored securely, and we implement appropriate safeguards to ensure your data remains protected from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. Only authorized staff members who require access to your data for administrative purposes will have the ability to view your information.
